NH36 Compatible Dials
An NH36-compatible dial shares the NH35's footprint, but it needs a day-date aperture instead of a date-only one. Get the feet and the aperture wrong and the dial won't seat or won't line up correctly.

Compatibility rules
01
Dial feet need to match the NH35/NH36 movement pattern. If the feet are wrong, the dial will not seat properly.
02
The dial needs a day-date aperture, not a date-only one. An NH35 date-only dial will not line up with the NH36's day wheel.
03
Dial thickness matters when you add tall indices, applied logos, or a high hand stack. Check vendor notes for low-clearance cases.
04
Case and hand tube sizes are identical to the NH35, so only the dial needs to be NH36/day-date specific.
Check the exact combination
Dial fit is only one part of the build. Use the builder to combine a movement, dial, hands, case, and crystal, then review the compatibility warnings before ordering parts.

- What size dial fits the NH36?
- The NH36 accepts dials around 28.4-28.5mm, the same footprint as the NH35. The dial also needs a day-date aperture rather than a date-only window, so the day wheel lines up correctly.
- Can I use an NH35 dial on an NH36?
- Only if it has a day-date aperture. Case fit and hand tube sizes are identical between the NH35 and NH36, but an NH35 date-only dial will not expose the NH36's day wheel correctly.
- Where is the day window on an NH36 dial?
- Layout varies by dial design. Most place the date window at 3 o'clock and the day window at 9 o'clock, or combine both in a single window at 3 o'clock. Check the specific dial's product photos.
